Charly Pall
Head of Industry, Google Canada
Charly Pall was born and studied in Vienna, where he earned a PhD in the science of communication and economics. His international ad agency experience includes account management assignments at Grey, D’Arcy and JWT in Hamburg, London and Vienna. After working at an agency in Tokyo he returned to Vienna to co-found his own shop.
In 1996, he went to New York to work at one of the first New Media agencies, later moving to Coca-Cola as an international marketing and communication director. He co-founded and was Managing Director of 12snap Mobile Marketing.
In 2006, he joined Google as Country Manager for Austria, and in September 2011 he was named Head of Industry at Google Canada, based in Toronto.
