Moreover, the ACA has long championed the development of, and adherence to, Canada’s legislative and self-regulatory regime for children’s advertising. Broadcasting policy: While advertisers are critical to a healthy broadcasting system, a healthy broadcasting system is, in turn, critical to advertisers’ commercial interests. Canadian advertisers have made a long-term investment in broadcasting as an advertising medium, and a key ACA role is representing advertisers’ interests to ensure the viability, efficiency and effectiveness of the medium.
