Canada’s anti-spam legislation (C-28) has allowed marketers to continue sending commercial emails to anyone they had in their database prior to the law coming into effect.

This 3-year grace period ends June 30, 2017.

You must obtain valid consent from all subscribers to be allowed to continue to sending email marketing campaigns to them.

Previously, he was Chief Innovation Officer of The Irish Times. His second book, “A History of the Internet and the Digital Future” is on the reading list at Harvard and Stanford. He was an associate on the emerging digital environment at the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge from 2011-14, and occasionally lectures at the Business School of University College Dublin.
