What We Do

The Association of Canadian Advertisers is the country’s only industry organization exclusively dedicated to client-marketers. As the premier Canadian marketing association, our goal is to help our members maximize the full value of their investments in all forms of marketing communications. We do this by providing members-only products and services tailored to the unique needs of marketers, including:

  • confidential and complimentary consultations on a wide range of MarCom topics
  • professional development courses, forums and webinars geared to enhancing MarCom management knowledge and expertise
  • ‘best practices’ publications and proprietary MarCom research that sets industry standards
  • Information-sharing and networking opportunities with peers through committees and events

The ACA is also committed to providing effective and vigorous advocacy that advances the best interests of marketers. We strive to safeguard the right to commercial free speech, while demanding an advertising marketplace that is accountable for the value provided to the marketer.

In addition, the ACA represents the views and concerns of our members before government and industry bodies, and negotiates with talent unions on behalf of marketers.
